Petrified Man

2007 — Inspired by a short story by Eudora Welty this series of mixed media drawings are self-portraits on the cover of pulp magazines. Similar to main character of the story, whose idetity is revealed by the discovery of his image on the pages of a detective magazine, these portrait give a tongue in cheek glimpse into my unknown self.
